Our Process for Product Design, Engineering & Production

Tektos product development process

At Tektos Ecosystems, our structured product development process transforms ideas into market-ready products. By combining research, engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing expertise, we guide projects from concept to full production while reducing risks and improving efficiency.

Our process begins with the Study Phase, where we analyze the concept, define technical requirements, and evaluate feasibility. This step ensures a strong foundation for the product development journey.

Next is the Development Phase, where our team creates engineering designs, 3D models, and prototypes. Through testing and refinement, we validate functionality and ensure the design is optimized for performance and manufacturability.

Finally, the Production Phase prepares the product for scalable manufacturing. By finalizing technical documentation and production workflows, we help ensure consistent quality and efficient manufacturing, enabling businesses to bring innovative products to market confidently.

phase 1 process study

Study

This phase lays the foundation for a successful product.

We start by defining the scope, target market, expected features, design requirements, and pricing strategy. Then, we conduct a feasibility study. We compare performance goals and costs, explore other options and improvements, and identify any risks early. We will also provide a rough cost estimate that includes tooling, development, and certification.

This will determine the best course of action based on your goals and budget.

phase 2 process development

Development

Once we’ve outlined the idea, we get to work on developing it. This is where your product starts to take shape, both inside and out. Each step is tested and documented, so by the end of this phase, we have a product that’s ready for manufacturing, not just in theory, but in practice.
